ROV Inspection on the Valves FPSO
Our ROV team flew in to perform the Class inspection on the valves of one of the vessels of our customer. In this case our ROV flew in to perform the Class inspection on the valves of one of the vessels of our customer.
After an assessment was made by a team on a job the choice was made to deploy one of our mini ROVs to inspect the Butterfly valves on a ballast system.
By inventive thinking FN Diving saved our customer 9 days dismantling flanges on the total operation and avoiding possible damage on the valve seals.
The operation was performed simultaneously with the underwater operation for the UWILD inspection. The mini ROV can easily be deployed to inspect bow thruster behind gratings with openings too narrow for a diver to enter the tunnel, saving time needed to gain access by removing and reinstalling the grid.
